Hello everyone,
Sunday today, and still drizzling with rain and a bit cooler, so that's nice., and my son has been here and we got a lot done in the vege gardens and pots etc..lettuce, beans, corn, spring onions and I have 2 tomatoes doing their thing, it will be so nice to walk outside pick a tomato whenever I want..yum..
So onto todays project..Christmas card # 20
and started off cutting blue poinsettias and adding little yellow gold gems for their centers..
Then a mock wood panel and dragging that ink pad down, then up a bit..
See..
So all my bits are there, just have to make up my mind what to do with it..
First thing, was to dip the tips of the flowers into glue then into white snow glitter..
Then same treatment to top of panel..
BUT!! it dried too clear.
So another dip into modeling paste then glitter....much better.
Sort of..moving on.
I did say I was going to use this die again, and I did.
and threaded silver ribbon weaving in and out..
Then glued a bow of the same ribbon..
Gave this sweet lass some snow treatment too..
Holding that bow in place took ages to dry, but
the panel looks lovely behind her..
Time to put it all together..
Flowers and white leaves on and helped with a little foam tape..
But, needed something..
So I added some foam roses as I have quite a few...
I stamped and gold embossed the sentiment..
and there she is all pretty and blue and white..
lots of dimension...love it.
And there we go, all done..
Thank you so much for stoppiny by..
I'll see you tomorrow..

Beautiful card Chrissy, she really needed that bow, it suits her style, and all those pretty flowers too.
You have to show us your tomatoes when they are ready, nothing nicer, I love raddish, used to be eating them before they hit the kitchen :))

Stunning, I just love the blues you used, such a sweet image and the ribbon threaded through the die is a lovely touch to her. Your flowers are lovely with the touch of glitter!
A stunner Chrissy and most welcome at Allsorts. My tomatoes have only just stopped producing in the greenhouse, nothing quite like the tast of home grown produce xx
