ALTER A BOX..

 Hello everyone,

I was given two little boxes that had dog collars in them, or something to do with dogs, a funny shape sort of rectangle and the lid covers the bottom completely which made covering it like it was...difficult.

I lifted the lids a little here..

So what to do with them...

The challenge is on..

take off the lids, flipp them over..

re arrange them and glue them into place...

Hold on tight as they strong little boxes,
very thick hard stuff, can't even cut them..

Hello, look who popped in..

Found some scraps and made little covers for them...

reinforced the corner only cosmetic..

then I had to wait, someone took a nap..

I inked the top edges, then all the edges..

and wrapped washi tape around...not straight.

The lids are a smidgeon taller than the base, but I didn't care, I was just playing..

and tadaaa.. a glue, tweezers and pick holder..

Something useful out of something that would have been biffed.

Thank you so much for stopping by,
I'll see you tomorrow..

luv CHRISSYxx

I've caught up on all your wonderful creations, always all so beautiful and with lots of texture. As for the boxes here? Well, how creative to make them into desk top holders. Being so hard, I'm sure they will last quite a while, and if too battered just replace the papers. Fabulous. x
