HAPPY BIRTHDAY..

 Hello everyone,

My fingers are loaded with plasters as I didn't know when to stop scrapbooking, I'm so close to finishing number four, I pushed on and split my finger tips..ouch, but cream on last night with plasters and feeling pretty good this morning, but it is difficult to type, but we will get there..

This card I'm sharing was my Grandsons, Makanis, he was 18 last week..

all my papers and card stock sorted..

if I only have scraps this is what I do..

Cut a circle for the front, clipped a notch and a gift card slid right in there,
although this is a mock up card as I hadn't bought one yet...

card out and a simple gold embossed happy birthday stamped
and some mock screws...
silver hand punched circles and a black line drawn down the middle..

another card for the colour effect,
this is my Xmas club card from New World supermarket..

So there you go..
Thank you so much for stopping by..

See you soon..

Fabulous man card, I love it Chrissy. Hope your grandson had a wonderful day.
I can't believe how much your suffering with your fingers like this, can you not put something on to prevent it, like those rubber finger guards or the like, it must be painful. xx

Now that is a perfect card for an 18 y.o. young man, great job! As for your finger pads, I feel for you. You know, I wonder...have you ever heard of liquid bandage? New Skin and Bactine make versions, Band-Aid might too, you apply it with a brush like nail polish, when it dries it's a coating on the skin. It's supposed to protect your booboo (cut or scrape, etc.), but I wonder when yours heals if it would protect your finger skin from splitting????? Just a thought/idea. Hope you heal up quick, xoxo

Fantastic masculine card Chrissy, love the design, to me it has definite steampunk vibes.
So sorry your fingers are sore again, must be so frustrating that it limits what you love to do, be patient, be careful and hopefully they will heal quickly.
