Hello everyone,
It is a beautiful Monday morning, sun is trying real hard to shine, a gentle breeze and washing is wafting on the line..what more could you need?
How about letter envelopes, no glue, only for the decoration and even then you don't really have to,...this is a long post, lots of pictures and a link that hopefully works to my idol..
I was watching Natasha from Treasure Books making these and was impressed and needed to have a go.
isn't this cute..
only paper folding and tucking..
so easy
and cute..
O ne sheet A4 copy paper..
fold and score both sides into the middle..exactly the same..
Top fold down..
bottom fold up..
Tuck bottom into top
and done..
Go a bit further..emboss it.
So pretty..
Ink it..
and make a bunch of them..
You can turn your paper this way and get
Letter envelope like this..
time to decorate..
Bits of lace and book pages..just scraps..
layer them up..
I missed turning this picture and too lazy to go do it,
so just turn you head to the side a bit..
So this one got a button..
a brad held this together,
then glued the flower over the brad as it die cut with a hole in the middle..
same here..
and without a word of a lie, this lace fell out of this box
as I lifted from the shelf and carried to the table and it is music lace
See..
so added this to the music paper one..
then there were five..
The music one opened up and you write your letter inside
then close it up, or pop ephemera or small gift inside for a crafty friend...how fun..
and there they all are..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
Ill see you Wednesday for DT project..
luv CHRISSYxx

Lovely idea Chrissy, I think they look great and a nice way to add alittle 'extra' for friends too. xx
Gorgeous creations and love to see the making of!
I love projects like this, creating something beautiful from nothing. Such a cool idea too and love the embossed detail too. Michelle x

Oh my goodness these are so pretty, I like watching her too, she has some neat ideas and projects she shares. You did a lovely job with these, you have a beautiful collection of laces, so pretty how you used them all!
I like to watch junk journal ephemera videos sometimes and I see them make little stuff like this. Very cute, you have yourself a good assortment. I sometimes wish we had a clothesline in the backyard. We did in our first house but it was older than this one. XOX
