THEY CALL IT THE BLUES..DT

 Hello everyone,

Gosh, time is flying by and we are in April already, my birthday month and I'm so excited..but today we are here for a new challenge over at LITTLE RED WAGON  and our lovely Kate is hostess with the theme " I guess that's why they call it the blues " - include blue..

Blue..mmm..Baby boy, blue, I decided to make a booklet..
and used envelopes for my base then the side pockets are already there..

But of course I added more,
you can never have too many pockets in my mind..

Side ones too,
these were already there, I just notched them, covered them to make them stronger
 and inked them..

all the pages were covered with trimmed gift wrap papers..

the envelope flaps covered too..

all folded up and ready for decorating..

I die cut theses little elephants

Twice..

and popped the darker blue inside the negative on the pale blue.

Same thing with the tiny boat..

Then snuggled it inside an upside down cloud for waves..

The stork was cut and coloured the bag was paper pieced..

album opened up with the names of events on top of those tags..

added a button closure with velcro dot and added " Our Baby ", alpha die cut..

So do come and join us HERE ..

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you again soon..

Luv CHRISSYxx

Awww, Chrissy....this is too cute and so fabulous. The elephants remind me: when Femke was born we got 3 wooden elephants which fitted in each other. They had the same shape as your diecuts.

Fabulous baby booklet Chrissy, love the papers and all the die-cut embellishments. I made one of these envelope booklets last year, covered it with papers then lost interest so still in the drawer!
