ARCH TWO.

 Hello everyone,

Well, it has been mentioned that I don't do things by halves and from myself, sometimes, I don't even know what I'm doing until I'm doing it..and that takes care of why I did what I did here!!..

Another Arch card which turned into a 10 page double sided booklet!!!

I started with navy cardstock for the bases..

Then into my nautical boxes and containers and cupboard to fish out my papers..all odds and sods, but all beautiful and leftovers, and heaps of them, even down to the tiniest scrap I keep..

this gorgeous die cuts a fancy top for my pockets.

The bases all joined together with washi tape, both
sides.

and before I knew it, I had got this big..

6x6 paper pad from K Mart..

and these papers are stunning Francheville Modern Coastal..
and using the next size down die it cut the measurement perfectly
for the patterned paper..

Die cutting time..

and ephemera time..

and not a hard job at all, use all of it..

this die cut anchor had a treatment of embossing ink and silver powder..

Even A5 papers vintage and a bit grungy were used..

just cut next size down and it fitted just right..

Shell papers

and even tags using scraps..

a large ephemera ship in gold and a gold embossed sentiment stamp..
Now I'll just share the pages and try not to talk...

outside...

inside...

standing up..

untied and the charms dangling down...

all closed up and beads on the ribbon..

So there you go..exhausted,? I am..

but I love it and maybe even make another one, still have so many scraps..

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you Wednesday.

You have a great collection of nautical goodies to use on these, I like the touch you gave to the anchor and the papers look terrific too!

I absolutely love how you tied it using the tags, very clever. Love the nested arches dies for precisely the same reason, to layer papers. Rest, then on to the next! xoxo

Stunning!!! Well, you might not have known where you were going when you started, but you sure did finish up beautifully. I so admire your creative process and all the elements and layering that go into your creations. Bravo!
