VINTAGE LADIES

 Hello everyone,

Back with a couple more Christmas projects, well, cards actually, and using up more of my stash and gorgeous papers..

the gorgeous papers is not this stuff,
although they came out pretty well, it is gold stripe wrapping paper.

I cut and glued and it onto cardstock and it bubbled and did crazy things

So, I embossed with paste and stencil and that, my friends was that, I won.

they came out really good

so I made four of them.

This tartan paper was a perfect match for this beautiful vintage lady's dress..
it was in my free papers folder..
I just stretched it a big as it would go and printed it out 12 times so I had heaps.

Kept it subtle though on this one and added it by cutting with oval die cutting behind the lady..

flowers snowed up a little bit.

embossing poking out the top corner and some matt gold flat back [earls.

I cut a tartan bow and some pine leaves.

and number one done..

then the idea of using more of that tartan,
I layered some poinsettias with it..

die cutting continuing, 25 and circles, inking, and leaves for ephemera

Without all the flowers and bow

and with the bow and frills..

There they are together, love this lady and very happy with the outcome of these cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by..
I'll see you tomorrow..

Gorgeous vintage feel to these, I do love what you have done with the background with the paste over the gold stripes. Lovely image she is and the tartan paper is perfect with her, love the touch of the bow with the greenery at the top and flowers at the base. Neat how the 25 even has that vintage feel, that color red is perfect!

Your Vintage image and ephemera are gorgeous! Love the pretty poinsettias and the bough at the top of each one you've created too as it adds to that look! It always feels so good to use up those stash items, doesn't it?

I'm reading posts to catch up but I'll need to stop and comment here. Love your Christmas Deer card with the top hat and GREAT job at your fair! You sound like you don't know if you are coming or going right now, so I'll just pray you can go back to your normal life real soon. I also love that plaid frame and bow and poinsettia layers, great ideas! You have all your faves on this card almost. xoxo
