Hello everyone,
Sunday afternoon while writing this post and the wind is howling outside..we are having a Summer storm and not too warm either..but, I'm in my room all cosy and just finished a project using up some envelopes using double sided papers that I made last year or even the year before and just never got round to doing anything, well, maybe once in a while I did, but still had plenty to play with..
These little card stock panels were in my stash, I think I was under the illusion
that they were going to at least A5, but they are only half that,
so they got put away and never used...until now.
these are the envelope I made using My Minds Eye 12x12 papers
The card ( only the brown ) with trimmed corners
popped inside the envelopes and NOT trimmed down, I wanted them sticking up.
This shows the back and front and how much
they are sticking up over the top..
and now ephemera time with these gorgeous Mintay ephemra flowers
and light bulbs, some dragon flies and number panels..
these were from my Son at Christmas, clever boy.
so after inking the brown panels with black ink and crazy stamps
I popped the flowers and whatnot where I thought I wanted them..
I finished one completely first and just love it..
Out of the envelope....then went for it..
almost half way through and still loving every minute.
getting through these too..
Before I knew I had nineteen done..NINETEEN!!
that is unacceptable so whipped up a spare..
which use up nearly everything left..
And done..20 envelopes with tags and florals..
Love them..
Thank you so much for stopping by..
See you soon..
Luv CHRISSYxx

You are truly a craft magician Chrissy. From plain to fantastic. I just love this envelope pockets!!
They did turn out so lovely, I like how it is sticking up so you can see what is one them, pretty ephemera, gret job of using almost everything in that pack!
Are those for junk journals? Very pretty but I'm at a loss as to what their purpose is. Guess to look pretty and they def. do that! xoxo
Your envelope project has such wonderful energy, Chrissy. The mix of My Minds Eye papers with the Mintay florals and light bulbs gives each piece its own personality, and the taller brown panels add a great sense of structure. It is impressive how you turned a forgotten stash of panels and envelopes into a cohesive set of twenty, all with that signature layered charm you do so well.
I'm impressed by these gorgeous envelopes and too, by your productivity! What a nice way to spend a stormy afternoon.
You are a paper crafting wizard! Beautiful and so very creative.
Lovely work thanks for sharing at Crafty Catz this challenge.
