Hello everyone,
Well, the weekend has gone, it is still raining and chilly and we have two more days of raining with a total of 7 days..I was forced to stay in my craftroom for these last 5 days and days and guess I'll have to manage another 2 or so..( she says with a big smirk on her face )
So, I've been really busy and have made so much stuff, mainly journals and folios because that is what I'm into now, so it may get a bit boring here when I start sharing, which begins today..lol..
These magnificent butterflies were from my local $2 shop and they
are actually for the wall as they are quite big BUT, I saw potential..
Time to use this die again and I kept the white bits for decorating..
die cut again in black and put the black bits back in the holes..
This ism y favourite butterfly in the set and decided to use
it in this folio /card /gift. for a man!!
I cut these film strips and added cellophane
and did a bit if inking..
Made a cluster..
and another one..
these are the bits I kept from the disc..
thie is where I popped the black bits back in to look real - ish.
and the white bits make a decoration on my tag..
So here we go...

and gosh I love that butterfly, I may have to walk down
to those shops and see if I can get another set..

look at that giant key, he is fabulous and from Mintay Grunge Ephemera die cuts pack
where I love the ephemera packs so much I bought them all..lol..

and back to beginning..
I love this project and wanted to make more as I have so much of the ephemera and want one to keep for myself, so I will see how that goes, this one has sold..

I LOVE this, its gorgeous and yes, get down to that shop and grab more butterflies before someone else see's them. I just love this Chrissy.

I am loving making folios at the minute too Chrissy but they are not a patch on yours. This one is just amazing. You are so gifted and no one would ever get bored looking at your beautiful makes!!
It is just magic what you do with the fab butterfly and all ephemera. No wonder this project has already been sold.
This beauty just popped up on my list Chrissy- better late than never. I hate to think of how much great stuff we're missing now that Blogger is playing silly Wotsits with the reading list!

I think you should definitely get more of those butterflies! This is o beautiful, I love that you have even used the die leftovers. I hope you get a break in all that rain.
Very cool, that buttterfly does make a statement for sure, I love how you used all the ephemera in the pack, you have such a knack for layering and using it all so well! Neat idea how you used the inner parts of the die cut, I saved mine too but haven't figured out how to use it .
Those oversized $2‑shop butterflies make such a dramatic focal point, and the way you inlaid the black die‑cut pieces back into the wings gives them a wonderfully realistic look; the film‑strip windows, Mintay Grunge ephemera, and all those saved white “negative” bits come together in a richly layered folio that feels bold, masculine, and full of personality.
Great masculine folio and tag, love those fabulous butterflies and all the ephemera-brilliant.
