I used markers for this project as it is quicker for me, I love to use my pencils, but my eyes don't so did my best here..
I die cut the branch and nest and the eggs, and coloured them up
with Spectrum noirs.
blue card stock and white ink made up my sky..
then popped my nest and branch in place with a few leaves
and some leaves fluttering to the ground..
Mama bird sitting waiting for the papa to bring her a treat anxiously
waiting for her eggs to hatch..
and a simple sentiment, " have a great day "..
our wonderful sponsor with 3 stamp sets..
So do come and join is with your favourite colouring medium..
So, there you go..
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I'll see you soon..

Lovely card Chrissy. I need to try the white ink on blue card for sky, it's very effective x
Gorgeous scene you created Chrissy, love the birds and the nest and of course all those leaves tumbling down, which btw is happening early here right now...xxx
Adorable and lovely colours. Elaine
The pencil colouring looks great to me Chrissy. This is such a sweet card, lovely spring time feel with the little birds and the speckled eggs waiting to hatch. Love the background too - a bright blue sky with a hint of soft clouds.

What an adorable slimline card Chrissy! I love how you've colored the dies and especially love how you've arranged the leaves falling from the branch! Super cute!
I never would have thought of adding white ink to blue card for clouds Chrissy, thanks for that!! This is just adorable!
Brilliant slimline card Chrissy I love how you have coloured the bird dies and I am so impressed at your detail of the leaves falling it may be a small thing to mention but it stands out to me as being realistic top notch card
