TO BIN OR NOT TO BIN..

Hello Everyone..

Time for some inking, Oh, this is so fun..

I bought myself a little starter pack....

And whipped up this green and brown number..

Made some with pink and a bit of gold...then totally, well almost, destroyed it..I will show you later.

And some blues and greens....

Then I played around with the pink one..and..eek..

Then it went from bad to worse..I kept adding stuff, like embossing powder and some gravel stuff and then could not bring it back..then I added some thing and the alcohol reacted and it bubbled..lol..

To Bin or Not To Bin..

After die cutting, I guess you know the answer..

I kept it...

And made a thinking of you card...

and a sympathy card...

So there we go..don't ever give up [like I usually do] because it can turn around..

Thanks so much for stopping by..I'll see you soon.

Luv CHRISSYxx

Many years ago, I used these alcohol inks on little tins and sold them at craft fairs. I love playing with the blending solution on it too. A drop on felt and pat it on the ink and it is just amazing to watch it do it's magic. Your cards are beautiful Chrissy and love the designs. Have a lovely weekend. Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx

Chrissy, you are so funny...I just bought some alcohol inks so now I am scared to use them, lol. I do like how your die cut turned out and wondered how you got that wonderful color. Just wait to see what I do...it will probably be worse....start my house on fire.

You had fun with your inks Chrissy, would have loved to have your face when the pink one was 'ruined' and you desperately tried to save it.... have done that so many times myself!! I usually do just bin stuff and go away and sulk for a bit! Glad you didn't give up on this though...the end result is stunning, well saved and good thinking!

Oh wow Chrissy, the results from your ink blending is amazing!! I absolutely LOVE that finished project you've made too! It seems to me that your one panel you weren't happy with would make for an excellent spcace sky background! Just splatter on some silver or white, add a space image and call it good! :) The results with the die cutting look quite amazing too!! I love them all hun!! HUGS

The backgrounds look awesome. Even the one you felt you destroyed. But great idea to use it for die cuts, no doubt it turned out great in the cards you made. A tip for me on how to use my unsuccessful inked backgrounds too....
