Hello everyone,
Welcome back for a new year of fortnightly challenges with AS YOU LIKE IT and we are kicking off with our first challenge you favourite "REASON TO CRAFT" - is it Birthdays, Weddings, babies, what floats your boat, don't for to mention why..
My project..and my most biggest reason to craft is...Birthday cards, I make heaps of them and as most will know I sell at my sons mechanic business, in his shop, make pretty good money there, and a lot of commissioned cards, which this, is one of them.
Another Deer hunter style card...so die cut quite a few of this wonderful stag head..
Glued them all up into one, and inked his edges but sprayed the antlers..
Oh, nice, paper towel over spray gorgeousness, might have to keep that!
Stamped this Stampin' up branch and gold embossed it onto dark green card stock..
Gathered some elements together..

The beautiful leaves were from my friend Janette and I sprayed them.
The background behind the Deer/stag is real tree paper/bark, I stored it for 3 years to make sure there were no bugs in it and it was clean..no I didn't, I forgot it was there for 3 years, but still, I would have put it there where I found it for awhile..to make sure.
It is very soft and almost a fur like feel to it..

I also cut out a circle with burlap which is behind the deer, in the sights, added the 60th, and this is the lid to a box..
6 x 8 box..
The card nestled inside..
Die cut a congratulations and glued it onto corrugated card stock..
and an " On your "

There's the set together..
The card is an easel..
Sideview.. I cover all my panels, inside and outside of them all..
One last photo..and we are done..

Another wonderful design Chrissy. You make such fabulous cards with so much packed into them, did have a laugh about the tree bark, after three years it should be more than fine to use hahaha. xxx

What an original card, Chrissy! Such a clever design. I don't think you could possibly get a better card for a hunter.
I would imagine they call more for your cards than to get their cars fixed Chrissy. They are all totally amazing and this one just takes the biscuit!!
