Hello everyone,
Friday has come around, still have the boy here!!..Holly has packed a sad with him as he pushed her off his bed as it got too hot the other night..I've been trying out new techniques which has been okay...ate a hot dog on a stick, because I could, but it was no where near as nice as it was when I was a child, gave me indigestion a little bit, and off for an eye check next week, so all in all been quite busy....
Today I'm sharing an ink blending sun with sprayed background in very hot colours and a silhouette..
Very hot..oranges,yellows,and red sprays and loads of water..
When that was dry, and didn't take too long, then I splattered with my
Gansai Tambi Starry paints...
and made this background...
After backing the paper with thick card, I had to punch through it..
But it got done, and then it was ready for a sun..
Die cut a white circle and sponged on Altenew ink,,
and using my kitchen/craft glass mat,
love it for easy clean just a little distracting with those poppies...
I then sponged Stampin up Carved pumpkin ink..
and I got this super hot sun..
I then glued her down in the middle of my tag..
and added my palm tree as a silhouette..going to stick those little birds
on too.
Then the birdies..
And done!
I really like this one and I just might make another..

Wowza that background is amazing and is great to frame the sun and silhouette. I am not sure when the last time was I had a hotdog on a stick but I am thinking it was when I was a kid.

Wow, what a juicy tag, almost made my mouth water because the colours are like oranges and lemons. A fantastic colour palette, those palm trees look amazing against the background, just gorgeous.
