AND YET ANOTHER CHRISTMAS..

 Hello everyone,

Back with another Christmas, not from the last set, this was made the next day or day after I don't know, but I made it, and here it is..

I had an idea for a mantel, but my brain had other ideas, but started out cutting candle sticks, candles and a several logs to make the mantel..

I found this cute mantel trim in with  Sant sleigh set I have,
so cut a couple of those out..

Glued all my logs together to make it thick and strong..

added the tine bows to the trim..

The candles needed some scoring, so did that.

Glued the candle holder layers together

and nearly ready..

Just needed some dripping wax..Nuvo Stone Drops..brilliant stuff.

That will do it..

Found one of these leaves in my leftover box so cut another couple
and this time added the detail white layers.

along with the berries, what a great little set.

So we are now ready...........or are we?

New paper pad, Crafters Companion..wow..

So chose this gold foiled deer paper in dark green,
and made a panel from the leftover scrap and layered the heck out of it..
I used an old box which I had cut up into dimension sizes.

You are seeing correctly, this is NOT the original mantel.
it looked so silly with these big candles, so made a new one and squeezed it through a wood grain embossing folder, then inked it..

I die cut a good amount of greenery since it started cutting..
90% of the problem is the cardstock.

So added my candles to the right..

added the pretty branches ..

and the trim with bows..

Then die cut a big 25, layered up several layers and inked it..

Made a cluster with pine needles. berries and an odd ,but very sparkly snowflake
I say odd, because I found it in a plastic bag all by itself..
but the camera says it is white!!

25 in place..

and an LOTV sentiment punched out this time....but I dontl ike it there,
so I pulled it off, gently, but ripped the papers!!

So added the berries behind it and stuck it back on,
 and actually, liked it now.

Just a few more bits to go on, like silver sparkly snowflakes, and a gold die cut deer..

Then I was done..

Thank you so much for stopping by..

I'll see you tomorrow with a DT project..and sooo not a Christmas card.
